Remember what Durant said about Kawhi on twitter? He's since changed his opinion but I guarantee people still feel like this.
I'd also add, a lot of NBA players generally think like casual fans. Look at Rondo's statement about how he lead the league in assists. Most of us here see him as a stat padding assist whore who can't shoot but raw numbers probably mean so much more to your average NBA player. People are going to be surprised when they see who NBA players voted for in the all star game and see it's just as bad as the average fan.
It's the burden he carries being the best since high school. Luckily for KD and Kawaii

Look no further than when KD and Paul George called Kawhi a "system" player...
Ironically...both of these guys were touted as rivals to Lebron...
Paul George had two cracks at him...lost twice and has faded away to just another good player on a bad team
KD had one crack at him...got sonned and had to join a 73 win team to try and get another crack at Lebron...
Kawhi...well he lost against Lebron and played well...He won a ring against Lebron and played well...and with him being so much better now we really need that Kawhi vs Bron part III...
KD statement is vastly underrated in it's bytchassness caused he clowned Kawhi for being a system player AND THEN LEFT HIS TEAM CAUSE HE WANTED TO PLAY IN A BETTER SYSTEM
