People don’t realize how big an advantage playing and practicing against other NBA athletes is. We see it even amongst the most talented rookies in the league.

Your understanding of pace and speed changes drastically even with a year of experiencing it consistently,
I think some people see the nba 2k ratings guys on the end of the bench have and think shyt is sweet. They will still mop any casual up

Perkins is swatting your shot every time and backing you down every time it’s his possession :manny:
Yup one thing right off top is dudes just ain't used to shooting against that kind of athleticism and the kind of length and range and timing they have. So most of us wouldn't be able to get off a jump shot against somebody close to 7 feet. Then you add in their wingspans and most average people wouldn't have a chance to dribble against a lot of these dudes.

There are reasons NBA players that are straight bench status can go to other pro leagues dropping 30 and 40 like it's nothing and come back to the league barely scoring double digits. And in of the pros in those other leagues would come here and kill an average player.

@TradePascalSiakam
I was in a gym in Newport News one day and some random dude who was essentially just trying out to be on a D League squad (was still the D League then, this is around 2005/6) and he was dominating the games like I’d never seen before. Dude was no taller than 6’2” either. Levels.

Yes, and now that person stopped progressing while the NBA car worked on his game to make… THE NBA!

Ostertag was 7 feet tall! Be serious lol
He wouldn’t even back you down. He would Jay you to death.
That part about continuously improving your skill is a big one too. The video that fukked me up was when Jay Williams challenged Andrew Schultz to a game. Where I'm thinking just him being a former NBA'er was enough to kill him. But Jay Williams looked like me at a pickup run due to not playing on the regular like he used to.

If you don’t bow down and say it’s a 0% chance anyone could possibly beat anyone who has ever made an NBA roster and submit that you should be ashamed for even entertaining such a thought, people gonna go crazy lol. You have to bow down to every athletes greatness and respect their place as one of the worlds greatest and not dare hint at them being able to be challenged by someone not in their ranks. That’s how it’s goes on here.

It's levels to this you bozo :mjlol:

Weekend warrior numbskulls expecting to have a chance against former professional basketball players who trained with/studied/competed against other elite basketball players and were coached by the best minds in the game is just hilarious

Ya mama a bozo. It can be hilarious to you but you should be respectful. It’s just my opinion

I firmly believe there's nba players that you can beat.

Scal is a skilled big man who's a good shooter. Other than his appearance, I'm not sure why he became the face of this movement.

But gimme Kendrick Perkins and I feel like there's regular ppl who can beat him straight up. :yeshrug:
kendrick perkins averaged like 30 a game in HIGH SCHOOL. it's incredible how folks shortchange these players. he would literally get the ball and just back up pretty much anyone on earth who tried to stop him. also, it would be difficult to get a shot off against him regardless of what position the non nba person played.

Any person who's never competed at the D1 level that thinks that they could hang with a professional athlete is a prideful fool.
:mjlol:

Same applies to boxing, combat sports, motorsports, skateboarding, fishing, shooting/accuracy sports etc. It's not happening, buddy. Cut it out. They're professionals for a reason.
