They, along with Duncan, are pretty much neck and neck to me. You could move all 3 of them around depending on different criteria.I cant even put Kobe over Shaq brehs...![]()
Comparing stats across eras is a lost cause especially considering how pace, total possessions, rules, etc. effect the way the game is played.
Jerry West is 1-9, he a top 10 loser for sure. and if i played in oscars era..I would be dropping 50 a gameKobe is not top 10 of all time..
MJ
Wilt
Kareem
Bill Russell
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Lebron
Oscar
Jerry West
Tim Duncan
Notice Dream and Shaq not even there..

If that's the case, I think Kobe was an elite player for a longer timespan than Oscar was in his while wining on the big stage far more often. In terms of 60's guards, West is typically considered the better of the two. I don't think any guard over the past 20 years has a case over Kobe. You're not comparing their stats to one another as much as you're comparing what they did in their era/with their contemporaries.
Support the opinion of a role playing bitter cracker
I knew this was going to be one of the first replies in here. Now, first off, fukk Scal, I never cared about him even during the big 3 era. With that said, is it your opinion that someone would have to be a better ball player than Kobe to discuss Kobe and if that's so, then why would we even have discussion threads seeing as nobody here even played in the league?
