Even out of shape. My old high school coach was a dude who barely played in the league (he was a Mickey Ds All American in the 80s though, and All ACC in college) and one random day he decided to play with us in a scrimmage. This would’ve been 03 or 04 so he was probably in his mid 40s. Based on his lack of endurance he clearly hadn’t played full court in years but he was straight killing us just based on long threes and the most amazing passes and court vision I’ve ever seen in person in my life, even up until now. And we were a state championship team with multiple D1 guys. But there’s levels.

Hearing shyt like this.
Makes me appreciate my high school gym teacher, mr griffin.
He played on the raiders superbowl team.
He just gave off that john madden don't fukk with him vibe just because.
Whole school area was shook.
He was the coolest tho.
Even his name said it was all business.

I be talking shyt cause that’s what I do, but even playing against dudes who played D1, it be a sense of hopelessness when guarding them lol. Like it just don’t be shyt you can do. I’m sure that’s how it feel playing Scal. I’m 6’5 and I remember playing against a 6’10 dude that had a scholarship to University of Pittsburgh. Dude was like Wilt fukking Chamberlain. shyt was frustrating as hell lol. And I can’t even remember his name cause he never even got drafted:pachaha:

if your older brother or pops didn't bully you in the post growing up you missed out on learning how to get better. That was a staple being bullied in the post by an OG or older family member to show you the ropes.
