Yo this is fukking seismic. Whatever you want to say of his current work this is a big fukking deal. In my mind, Bendis is the most influential dude at marvel since Stan and his absence will be felt. shyt the entire marvel movie lifeblood basically owes a debt to him because they’re all for the most part taking what he did and putting it on the big screen.

Idk what he’s doing at dc but I’m curious about what his future holds. I can’t see him writing Batman but flash? Definitely

This is great for DC. The ultimate Spider-Man series is the best comic book version of Spider-Man imo. Not only that but he introduced the world to Miles Morales and Jessica Jones and got me and alot of other people somewhat interested in the Avengers which I didn't think was possible. He also helped kick off the MCU which was ground breaking. If he does half of that shyt with DC then they're in good hands

i dont think it's even bold at this point to say. The only reason I'd give it to Miller is when he did it, he was breaking new ground with each issue. But Bendis' run was just as important when it came to re-establishing Daredevil as someone casual readers should give a fukk about.

I went from owning one Daredevil comic my uncle gave me to still reading Daredevil to this day, because of Bendis. Same way Jason Aaron has made me give a fukk about Thor, regardless of who takes over whenever he eventually leaves. How many creators have THAT level of influence on a character? Usually, when the writer/artist you like bounces off a book, you bounce with him. Only the truly legendary runs keep you with the character no matter what happens next.

Doesn’t change the Influence tho which is key. Yeah he may not be what he was but his impact is huge and is everywhere in their comics and their movies and their damn tv shows except legion
