The problem is that we think we know Brian McKnight based on his music. We have this idea of how we expect him to be, instead of allowing him to be who he wants to be. If he wants to make pornographic songs, so what? You really think he's never watched porn. Do you guys think he doesn't curse? Do you think he talks in his everyday life the same way he sings his songs? If you don't like what he's doing, then you simply don't like what he's doing.

As far as his statements about Breezy, May, and Kels, those were definitely uncalled for, and may bring him more attention than he would like.

We're not defending Chris Brown, R. Kelly, etc. What they did WAS wrong. We're going at Brian McKnight for bringing them up unprompted to take heat off himself for a move he chose to make. He would be much better off if he just stepped up and said, "Ay ya'll I was tripping. Ya'll are right. I don't know what I was thinking going down that route. It isn't just, I see what he saying but he could have avoid all this beef if he just said at the end of his statement/rant, "No disrespect to the men I am talking about, it's just really bother me how my fans and critics want to demean me for what I made as an experiment to my listeners."
