arkansas has always been a trap game for us after the alabama game and sam pittman probably saved a couple trick plays for us given that he knows the history of the rivalry and that they want to redeem themselves after losing to liberty. i wasn't aware that brian kelly still had some notre dame fans rooting for him but they don't really talk extensively about the LSU program
the SEC randomly made a rivalry between LSU and arkansas back in 1992 when arkansas joined the conference and we played for the golden boot (aka the 33rd parallel that separates the 2 states) ever since 1996.
there are random overlooked QB powerhouses in northern louisiana like the high school dak prescott went to but then the talent pool drops off once you get into arkansas and even oklahoma....this must be that historical territorial racism playing an effect when other states like tennessee or north carolina don't drop off in athletic talent as hard until you get into the appalachian mountains of west virginia and kentucky...and then the talent picks back up in the historical abolitionist states like ohio and penn, etc
Which states produce the most NFL players? Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Louisiana; Ohio is 10th.

archie manning grew up in mississippi, played for ole miss but ended up on the saints, so that's why the manning family and the manning passing academy are in louisiana but they would still have their kids go elsewhere except for LSU given the ole miss-LSU rivalry. it's like they are regarded as football royalty at least for the saints or local high schools but LSU didn't benefit from their talent at all, so that's why I feel ambivalent at best about them even after their ESPN documentary aired and arch manning used to joke about being a LSU fan in the outro.

damn, we never even got a mannie fresh remix to some LSU fight song like bun b, paul wall, and slim thug did for the houston cougars because that shyt would have blew up
wayne could have made a song like he did for kobe but i think him and boosie are fans from afar because LSU still had some institutional racism in its past and didn't fully integrate with black players until like 1972 and there's a hall named after that mofo
When the LSU Tigers take the field this August, many members of the football team will be African-American. But once upon a time, the university president for whom the central

the state has political corruption and cronyism, we don't take taxes from companies reaping our rich natural resources, we are dead last and close to mississippi status in terms of state ranking even tho they don't have half our resources, all that bullshyt...it's so commonplace that the people here developed stockholm syndrome to these low standards and refuse even talk about the stranglehold this bullshyt has on our people

damn, i wish that swagu, booger mcfarland, and ryan clark got on this show and defended LSU some more...yeah, ESPN hired some LSU analysts but when it comes to important debates, it's still desmond howard from michigan and greg mcelroy from alabama still talking us down without much debate, smh...we always are the golden chaos team that people bandwagon for but when their team don't get in, they get salty about us too, like we can't improve midway thru the season and redeem ourselves like when ohio state lost against virginia tech in 2014 and still made the playoffs? don't forget, our 2007 national champion team had 2 losses because everyone else had ugly losses in comparison too...hopefully, the playoff committee understands this without ESPN or other football interest groups lobbying for their opinions
