im sure scotland is a part of britain lol
if u mean england, then yeah. when i was there last summer i sensed the scots had a similar feeling of resentment to the english as the irish.

Like I've said before, if the US gov't interacted like this, voter turnout and attention would be MUCH higher.
We (Canada) have a House of Commons and Question Period and people barely pay attention. British wit and humour is hard to replicate to be real.

Boris’s prorogation gambit completely backfired. The legislation will get Royal Assent by end of the week and an election can be called with the opposition looking triumphant and a no-deal Brexit averted.
The stars seem aligned for Corbyn to finally get in Number 10 but he needs to find a credible way to propose is Brexit strategy, that isn’t magical and/or incoherent.

Wouldn't work here. Someone would smack Ted Cruz two weeks into it. Rand Paul would get his ribs broken again.

I like the proposed plan I've heard where Corbyn makes clear his own stance on the specific issue then defers to party constituency and leadership on the issue. It shows humility and ingratiates himself more.
The proposition has to be a 2nd ref on the books, I can't imagine that anything else can get through. And he needs to get it done quickly as Brexit has just completely sapped every other element of government and has been the most profound and absurd distraction from the very real wealth transfer upwards that's been happening under May and now Boris as they continue to leave the country in the lurch.
