Not retarded, just greedy for power. There used to be a time when politicians put people first and told them hard truths and left it up to them to decide.
Brexit was predicated on lies by Boris Johnson, who had eyes on being PM. When it actually went through and the fukkers realised they had no fukking plan, they fell back.
Theresa saw it as her opportunity and slid in, signing cheques her ass couldn't cash.
Now we are here.

I see that but it's completely illogical, I watched her on tv when they went live in strasbourg a day or two ago, nothing in this is grounded by facts...

they're trying to wing it on one of the most obvious and clear social and political disasters of the century

Yes it is. They know it is, but they would rather cling to power and pretend than be honest. At this stage I think there are people behind the scenes who are greatly invested in fleecing the UK when Brexit hits the fan and we are all pawns in the game.

There are absolutely interests at play to make themselves wealthy as the general populace falls deeper into austerity.

I don’t see it that way. I think there are rich people who will be fine either way but they make a penny more of a couple people go hungry. I don’t think they will generate exceptional wealth from the impending crisis.

What the fukk is the point at this stage. They're going to vote no.

Whitehall & Westminster logic 2019:

"We don't want that deal!" :hhh::pacspit:

"We don't want no deal!" :hubie::whoa:

EU makes it clear there's no room for further negotiation :birdman:

"We don't want that deal!" :hhh::pacspit:

"We don't want no deal!" :hubie::whoa:

They don't get it. It's a binary choice. Deal or no deal. There's no third way, no new deal being offered. It's this or nothing.

EU: We won't accept any amendments

MPs: *vote on amendment anyway*

Problem is...is the EU going to accept an extension without a deal in place?

Also extension without a plan is what exactly....there will still be the same divisions.

What would happen if the Tories just revoke Article 50? They lose all those Brexiteers in their party?
