It's wild how little is being said since the implications of this extends beyond sports and into politics and so on. This is a big deal, especially in light of the water crisis in Jackson.
I wanna see that thread. Got a link?
That Steve McNair shyt was fukked up on all sidesNo link needed. I can tell you since I went to college in Mississippi. Two players you would always see in Mississippi was Steve McNair and Favre.
Favre entire family is white trash, drug addicts, drunks and criminals. Favre brother had multiple DUIs and ended up serving time for killing a person while drunk driving. His sister was also arrested for being involved in a drive by shooting in Louisiana while she was a student at Southern Miss and then got arrested for shop lifting some years later. Then in the 2010s Favre's sister was arrested again for for cooking up Meth in a Meth house.
While Favre was on the league substance abuse program in the late 90s you could still see him in the offseasons in Hattiesburg at bars and shyt drinking with buddies.
That accident he had his senior year at Southern Miss where he had his small intestines removed was caused due to Brett drunk driving. However the Hattiesburg PD covered it up like they always did with Brett and his DUIs during his times on the team.
What is amazing to me and how the white sports media and black gossip internet and radio media treats athletes different when their black and when they are white. When Steve McNair was murdered by that selfish young lady all your heard in the media and gossip sites was how McNair was a bad father and husband. How he led the young girl on and how it was karma. Not how a young girl was so selfish over material things that she could be so evil to kill someone for it. Never forget aunt Jemele Hill actually wrote an article after Steve's death and called him a bad father (auntie was always one of the best on ESPN for carrying water....though Whitlock was the king of carrying water).
Yet with his fellow Mississippi peer (Favre) who played the same position as him in college and the pros every excuse was made for his bad behavior when he was caught red handed. If his bad behavior wasn't excused it was flat out ignored. The pills, the drinking, the dikk picks, being a selfish teammate, stealing money from the poor and on and on and on.
Even the same scum buckets in the media who jumped in Steve McNair's behind with two feet with articles and ect after he was murdered in cold blood. Think they are actually doing something with a simple tweet (or 3 minute segment like that hoe Rich Eison) about Brett's wrong doing. These pompous asses know they ain't shyt cause they done ran cover for Brett for 20 years. Now they want a pat on the back cause they done sent out 1 tweet or talked for 5 minutes on Brett being a fukking welfare Queen/King. fukk them and their opinion cause they are part of the problem.
That Steve McNair shyt was fukked up on all sides
The chick that killed him was fukkin crazy but you know it did look bad how he was basically leading a double life with him being married with children.. That shyt was fukked up
I really felt bad for wife it just a horrible situation on all sides
Favre is getting destroyed in the mediaI know folks from Steve's home town and from his wife Mechelle home town. Steve always had side women (so has Favre) both wives have always known the deal. If you been to Hattiesburg or the surrounding areas all this behavior was always out in the public because as I mentioned both Steve and Brett were always seen. Like literally seen everywhere out in public.
Steve like Brett took care of his and his wife's family. Nothing they needed they didn't get. Sadly once Steve died Mechelle took the life insurance policy and money and stopped paying for everything Steve took care of for his mother. Steve mon lost her home / land and cars because Mechelle stopped paying for it and basically she doesn't talk to Steve's mother anymore so they have no relationship.
As far as the McNair story the point is how the media went 10 toes into Steve's background and history yet the same bad behaving man who is from the same area they turned a blind eye to his bad deeds. That is the point or as Steppin A said how you gonna single out Udoka but everyone else gets a pass.
Realize when Brett took the dikk picks it was women in Hattieburg who wanted to snitch on how they had a relationships with Brett. The media basically ignored them. Yet years before Tiger cheated the media was happy to let women who had been with him snitch and they gave them a platform. Oh and lets not forget when Tiger went to Sex addiction rehabilitation camp (which is located in HATTIESBURG MS) ESPN and the media had no issue going to Hattiesburg and report on Tiger in sex rehab.
It's a fake quote.
Favre is a Trump supporting Republican from Mississippi
All they do is grift

That’s what I said earlier.
People out here complaining about ESPN not talking about it, when this should be a huge national serious media story. The fact that it’s not there in any type of way is what’s really disturbing.
IT IS a big story are you people not watching or reading the newsThat’s what I said earlier.
