The state government gets a lot of money from the feds, for various things, and it gets funneled into various pet programs or bullshyt in order to limit the amount of money that goes to black or Hispanic parts of the state. Most recently, all that COVID money that Biden sent to states? Sure many used it on good things, but in Florida and many other southern states they used it to cut the taxes of businesses and rich people. Mississippi got a lot of money from that too, I bet some is still left over yet they won't be using it to fix that water situation. Pathetic.
