The golden erabret shoots are the best because he always does it with such a blank face.
in fact dap + rep for anyone that could find a pic of Bret cracking a smile or having a good laugh.
his teeth have to be visible too![]()

"I heard something a few months ago where Hulk Hogan was talking about me, and he said, 'The problem with Bret Hart is that he really does think he was the greatest wrestler of all time,'" Hart said. "I remember thinking about that, and going, 'Hmm. Yeah, maybe.' That might be the most truthful thing he's ever said.
"Then I think when you watch a lot of the wrestlers today, you don't see anybody imitating Hulk Hogan or Ultimate Warrior. You see a lot of wrestlers today really trying their best to capture my style, or some of the guys that I worked with, like Dynamite Kid, or Curt Hennig, my brother Owen [Hart] and stuff like them. Yeah, they're wrestling my style, and that's the biggest compliment I can get from today's generation is that."
"I find that, especially AEW, I find that they're mostly actors trying to pretend to be wrestlers," he concluded. "Get on with the real wrestling and just quit acting so much."
"I try to. I try to watch the pay-per-views. I find, in a lot of wrestlers, and I won't name anybody, but I find the wrestlers are more actors pretending to be wrestlers today than actual wrestlers. I miss the ruggedness of the characters. Guys like Curt Hennig, myself, Dynamite Kid. That whole era of wrestlers that broke into the business in the late '70s and early '80s. We were from the Harley Race, Terry Funk generation, trying to copy them or mimic them. That's why I think the '90s was the best era of wrestling. When I watch some of that old '90s wrestling, it was really good stuff. I find that today's wrestling is a little bit more about promos and your character on TV and not so much your work rate. I like guys that throwback a little bit more to the work rate. Roman Reigns is a guy that tries really hard to earn the respect of my generation and be more realistic and more credible and believable, not so much an actor. I find that, especially AEW, I find they are mostly actors trying to pretend to be wrestlers and they gotta get on with real wrestling and quit acting so much," stated Bret.
Sure, but he’s got the companies backwards when he’s talking about promos, characters, work rate, etc.i mean Bret has a point there...
Its crazy how well some of his matches aged….the Montreal Screwjob MATCH is incredible until the finish. A 10/10 for real. The older I get the more I appreciate Bret.
I was a fan as a kid bc of the sunglasses (the OG silver ones, before the pink glasses), had a cool name, and he was just a good wrestler, you could notice that even as a 10 yr old.
But then I thought he kinda went left in the mid-90s.....however, now, I understand and appreciate his stance of believing in his character and the business itself. Yeah, it's pre-determined, but he took it seriously, and while some may laugh at that....taking it seriously makes for a better product for the fans.
And you can tell from interviews that he really appreciated his fans, in addition to giving his best for the business.
Compare that to a guy like Hogan and it's just night & day.
Same with “bill Goldberg”Just listened to an interview and Bret yet again 100% of the time says "my brother owen" lmao.
Dude does not just say his name. It is always "My brother Owen"
