I was going to pander a bit and throw Savage in here, but then I remembered: Scott Hall had the coolest gear themes and gear styles ever in WCW.

Bloody vest with the bloody trunks and boots. Simple, but the swag wasn't fair. Heel with the toothpick, greasy guido curl, permanent 5 o'clock shadow.....

....and he'd occasionally come out rocking whatever shirt they were trying to sell, but he cut it up poncho-style like he might go hoop and shyt after the match.

Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle deserve points too. It felt like it could be 6-8 weeks before you’d see them use the same design on their gear. @HipHopStan good work on the picture. I’ve got maybe 7 different downloaded singlets in 2k this year for Van Dam

Bret did an A+ job with pink and black and those iconic shades. Especially handing them shades out to the kids before each match.

But if we're talking GOAT wrestling gear. No one has come close to the effort, attention to detail, color scheme and overall greatness of the Macho Man. If Bret is a 9 out of 10 on the scale of wrestling gear Macho Man is a 12.

And then when you thought he had peaked he switched it up after he won king of the Ring.
