You can get the "authenticity" from way more talented artist. People love to hide behind the "vibe" excuse for bad/untalented artist, yall won't be playing this in 6 months. I would say he should just be a songwriter but I wasn't impressed with that either especially considering how bad he is vocally, that songwriting needs to be top level if you are going to be this bad vocally, I don't get it, liking this is really just a sign of nikkas starving for this type of music, shyt has been pretty empty this year filled with flops.

This ain’t a vibe. There’s no bops on here. The beats suck. His voice and sound sucks

I wasn't really feeling this off first listen. The songs were sorta boring and album hard to get into bc all them damn skits, does he think he Killa Cam or something?

Some of the songs felt like they blurred into the same? I'll run it back a few more times maybe without the skits to break it up. He's definitely made better tracks in the past, I wonder how much input his group Sonder had in this?

I gave it a few thorough listens, there's a good amount of tracks I like but most of them were either singles or I heard them before this dropped. I don't think it's a bad project but it's not really going to be in rotation outside of those handful of songs.


I got a similar feeling when Weeknd dropped Kiss Land

I really tried to get into dudes music but It just don't do it for me. He's got some classic tracks but his albums always leave something to be desired. They're too low tempo and on the emo side. I like a little more bop to my RnB. But this has some bangers. I'm fukkin with FYTB and "Addictions".


But I think that new Sir track slays anything on this album. Sir got the crown right now in the soul category. I think he bout to smash everything with his new album.

You are bugging! Who wrote a better song then Dead Man Walking the past 5 years? Even the Gatsby joint and Fytb is tough. Y'all ain't listening man, nah!

This is good and Sir is a better singer than Brent easily, criminally underrated but I won't say song writing wise he is miles above Brent like you're saying.

If you hear Brent when he does brighter music like he did on the song Let me know or his Sonder projects you would see he can write a dope song.

Brent aint the best singer but he aint no IceJJFish lmao. Price of Fame and Jackie Brown alone make this album hit.
