Nah not either way. I had some regular castor oil, shyt did miracles to my hair. I was shocked oil could make my hair grow instantly after 1 night. Liquid gold for hair.

Ran out used other oils none were jocking the castor oil so then i copped the black castor oil due to all the raving and that shyt might as well b soybean oil b real talk, its straight trash. A whole bottle did nothing compared 1 use of some random regular castor oil, no exaggeration.

Lol i actually found the brand i bought it was dr adorable but its hella expensive compared to that 1 so i wouldnt bother

My theory is the roasting of the castor beans destroys the properties that make castor oil so unique. Its a base/carrier oil great for mixing various oils and butters and literally soaks into the skin (very good for skin too). Jbco doesnt do this.
