Wouldn't quite say he's trash now because I still see potential, but I mostly agree with this because his best role is as the leader of a stable. He does kinda seem like just another random guy these days.

Co-sign. They threw his "business services for hire" in the bushes almost instantly after they had him cutting promos. Didn't even get to see one beatdown due to that.
They could still do the Summerslam ending (that should have happened) in the Sheamus/Big Show match, leading to a Dolph cash-in.
He's somehow not injury prone, is a reliable stop gap when believable heels are scarce and easy-ish to book.
It's crazy that most of my best memories of him as Big Show (not the Giant) involve him getting humiliated tho

Well of course it's the booking. I'm not questioning the man's talent. I'm just saying he comes off right now as another random guy. It's not his fault.

-Dolph's got the briefcase and they're probably trying to hold out until a big event for him to cash in. They're probably going to keep playing up the possibility of him cashing in after main events for a while to keep the audience on edge.
-Daniel Bryan & Kane are building up the tag division...as are Cody and Sandow
-Rey was suspended, is sick, not believable for a feud right now, and is in the tag division as well.
-Orton was suspended, came back, and has other outside obligations so I doubt they're committing him to a World title run anytime soon.

They should just give the heel push Sheamus had a few years ago to either Cody or Sandow after they finish with the tag division. Nobody trying to catch a Big Show match right now, let alone in the main event. Mark Henry can't come back quickly enough.
Somebody has to keep the seat warm for orton until he returns full time and can carry bums like sheamus and daniel bryan to five stars
