Where do you all buy your art from? I have a hard time looking for stuff and learning about different artists

I agree with you. It's definitely impressive in a technique sense, but what's so expressive about drawing something exactly how it looks? There's nothing artistic about it aside from what every eye will show you. It's cool stuff, but it's not inspiring.

It's cool, I respect the skill and the patience it takes to do it. But like others said it has no expression.

The sheer saturation of it might be the biggest issue.

It's quite honestly permeating every facet of social media

It’s not the only style being hyped, breh :beli:.

Its necessary and I can’t knock it, some folks are taking it to the next level like Yuasa, Glennray Tutor, Juan Francisco,Mike Darias, Monica Lee, Alyssa Monks, Kyle Barnes, Oliver Jones, Mckinnniss, Monica Cook, Marc Sijan and Jamie Salmon sculptures.

Edit: and you can’t leave out Arnize Stanley:wow:.
That brotha is holding it down!

Abstract is more where it's at. I'm not saying that hyperrealism doesn't require work or patience. But the ablity to translate those abstract thoughts into a physical thing and have it look the way it does is impressive. With hyperism I'm getting pure imitation of another field of art, photography, and it's boring.
