Yes, 2 people would move to the location, to do all the ground work.

Import/export, something interesting you can sell here; furniture, coffee, olive oil, regional items with unforeseen demand in America or where ever you live.

Open a bar in a college area.

Make sure you have a good understanding of laws and corruption whatever you do.

There's probably more but I'm just waking up.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice, anything else you might come up with later, is welcomed.

Besides real-estate, what are ways one could flip, lets say $10,000, a few times, in 3 months?
Well, I have some ideas but that time frame is not feasible.
1. Go to Japan.
2. Buy high-end Japanese aftermarket car parts not-available or hard-to-get in the US.
3. Ship it over in a container, they rent out container space when your shipment is less than a full sized container.
4. In the US, sell it on eBay.
5. Repeat.

Selling it and making a profit is not a problem. Waiting for buyers to scoop up your goods is random. It might sell immediately or it might take months before it gets purchased.
Other problems: traveling to and from Japan and staying at a hotel is expensive. Speaking Japanese and getting around is not easy either. Also, if you don't know what to get, then you shouldn't get into it. Shipping by sea may take months if the container ship has already left, or it could take a short time if you ship it before the container ship leaves the port. Air shipment is way too expensive and will eat your profit margin like a fat man at Thanksgiving dinner.

Thats sounds like a great plan, but I don't know much about cars.
