The Detroit game was still his best overall performance to me. He just went into a zone that I have not seen him or anyone else get into ever since. Like bruh a few posts ago said somewhere in that heart of his is a guy who could do this every night if he wanted to. I've always wanted to see him go in that Detroit zone again but for all the great games he has played over the years he has never been locked in like that since other then maybe the Celtics game in 2012. But it was something about that Pistons game that will always go down as his greatest performance ever. Though they didn't have Ben anymore he took Sheed Prince Webber and Mcdyess too if im not mistaken to school like they were kids. They or anyone else that night couldn't mess with Bron in that 4th quarter and overtime.

there was wayyyy less pressure on him that year, he was still that young talented 22 year old who will win a few rings later in his career.

Probably top 10-15 but closer to top 10 once you consider the meaning of this game and how he stood up to it. Bosh hurt/coming off the bench, Wade had a couple rough games, supporting cast was spotty at times, but I don't know if I'd ever seen LeBron look the way he did.

He literally could not afford to lose that game and the Game 7 after that one. And he had had a lot of other big playoff games before this but this had the added pressure of following up a disappointing 2011, being down in Boston, and those generally unsubstantiated claims of him being a poor clutch player/choker would start to gain more traction (and if he had played sub-par it would start to make a little more sense). He blew that shyt away. Thing is he didn't really have to prove himself in the 4th quarter of that game since he ended it before then. Also he held Pierce to 9 points on 4-18 shooting, which kinda gets glossed over but is can't hurt when talking about this game.

2007 vs. Detroit was huge but it wasn't going to make or break his legacy since it was just his 4th season.
