Moved to a new city right before highschool and had like 0 friends the first few weeks.
Said fukk it and joined the after-school weightlifting club. Made friends who liked lifting and joined the football team and loved lifting ever since then.
Didn't really pay attention to diet and protein intake and carbs and bulking, etc. at that time so my body still looked kinda I just lifted weights.
It wasn't till I graduated last year and ballooned up to 210 pounds did I start taking diet more seriously. I learned all I could from the internet and the youtube guys and made more gains than I coulda ever imagined.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this.
Is this in reference to the self esteem boost you get from working out or from when other people acknowledge your gains? For me it's a bit of both.
Or is it knowing how many jaws you can tap
