Start with a book that gives a general overview so you can learn about different schools of thought, Western vs Eastern, etc.

There are also good YouTube channels to help introduce you to Philosophy. With that said, Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching and Dostoyevsky’s Notes from the Underground come to mind for me. African philosophy is also very fascinating as well.

Really good channel to get yourself more familiar. Can also guide you to what you’d be more interested in reading. I like Eastern and African shyt more than Western philosophy but it’s good to get a rounded viewpoint.

Philosophy some hardcore shyt cuz you questioning everything at that point lol.

World Philosophies: An Historical Introduction

Think: A Compelling Introduction to Philosophy

Bertrand Russell's history of philosophy

Atheism and Theism - by J. J. C. Smart & John Haldane

Coming from someone who studied a little philosophy in college, these were some of the best overviews I read and allowed me to jump directly to a bunch of philosophers works Afterwards

Man’s search for meaning by Frankl

Human Nature and Social order - Cooley

Heart of Darkness by Conrad and Things fall apart (not sure it counts as philosophy)

The Wretched of the Earth - Frantz Fanon
Black Skin, White Masks - Frantz Fanon
The Invisible Man - Ralph Ellison (this is something that's ideal for what you're looking for).

These are a good start.
