It has nothing to do with that, did you know that people are bringing the vehicle back due to recalls

Three Maserati models face recalls for two different types of fire risk

The recall hasn't been resolved hence they are liquidating inventory with these crazy lease deals.
Yeah I saw that but I actually know people with them that aren't having problems with them and like the car too. Most of the folks I see speaking negatively on the car haven't even been in one let alone own it. Every car has their problems so I'm not co signing that but its just not a shyt car at all.

The Korean lines are really taking off now.

It looks like they took styling cues from BMW, Porsche, Audi and Honda and made a nice looking car.

The Traps of Unified Korea
Kia needs to do what Hyundai did and split off a luxury brand.

The refuse to though.
Hyundai owns a third of Kia, and 80% of their lineups share platforms. They're not competition. The best way to think of the brands is Kia/Entry Hyundai/Premium Genesis/Luxury. Of course, this doesn't line up entirely with Hyundai offering some down market options, but with the way they continue to position themselves, they're definitely working towards a Scion/Toyota/Lexus scale.
