Yeah, of the podcasts Conrad hosts, this and What Happened When are the ones I always try to stay current on. You get the grumpiness and knowledge of a Cornette without any of the unknowing hatred of modern wrestling (although there are definitely tropes that get under JR's skin and he always lets you know when they come up). I also like that Conrad's willing to actually call his co-hosts on their bullshyt from time to time.
If you start listening from around late March 2019 onward (after he left WWE and joined AEW), it's almost always great because JR's giving you his mostly unfiltered thoughts on WWE decision-making. It's always very interesting to hear his perspective on the issues that came up during his time there (I, for one, can't wait for Conrad and JR to cover Bret Hart's 1997 eventually. THAT should be a fun podcast, if some of JR's sly comments about the Kliq are any indication). And unlike Bruce Pritchard or Eric Bischoff, you don't really get the sense that JR's trying to bullshyt you on anything, as he'll just tell you outright if he doesn't remember something or something got messed up on his end, which is what makes podcasts like the one he did on Austin walking out so interesting (he just outright said that he handled that poorly as both the Head of Talent Relations and as Austin's friend).
I'd recommend any fan of wrestling at least check it out.
