Before I met my wife who is 5'7, the shortest girl I talked to was 5"5, I think 5'7 is good even in high heels she is still 2 inches shorter then me.

I don't think I would of married a girl under 5'5 but I always preferred 5'7-8ish so my kids would be a nice height. Plus I think taller girls bounce back from pregnancy faster. Shorter girls will struggle with weight in later years around mid 30's.
