There was nothing interesting about that show. Yes, dialog was on point, but there was NOTHING in that show that intrigued me. I was also let down by Olyphant's role, which I expected better. Swerengen was the only enjoyable part of the show.

Spartacus is trash, but the cutthroat mentality and survival of the fittest theme in rome are similar to game of thrones. As well as highborns competing over power while low borns can't do nothing but try to adapt to ever changing circumstances. The role of woman is also similar. game of thrones has higher production values, but rome was the better show in my opinion.
