brehs put me on this wave, I NEED to know how to make this sound.

this wave of dream pop influenced rnb has me on 12 I'm gonna put sampling and that cloud rap shyt on the burner for a minute till I learn how to compose from scratch and I wanna learn how to make these type of joints. brehs tell me what sounds I need, pads, vsts, etc etc, money ain a object I'll get it since I'm feeling this so much.

Saws and squares with great chorus and filter effects. you can do this with 3xosc if you wanted to. Even sytrus would do if you wanted to stay within plugins that came with FL studio. However a lot of vst plugins have these type of sounds, even the free ones. It's mainly about the effects you put on the sounds after you program them.

wtf its that simple? I have massive, nexus, gladiator, zeta...etc. and struggle to make even shyt like basic ass trap beats sound decent with all that. I think I just don't know what sounds I should be using for things. Cuz composing originals should not be as difficult as I'm making it.

breh like i said in the other thread. Layering is the key.


use multiple pads / multiple drums set and have fun ! use some phasers /flanger effects on your synths and feast

lol nothing wrong with it breh. its just basic and EVERY producer uses it. maybe im hating cause i never got into it

I tried ableton and that was the most unintituive thing I've ever seen to sample with. nikkas didn't have a detect bpm option
