Yes, because there aren't more qualified black women than Mayor Bottoms. Let me rephrase that. According to you, Mayor Bottoms is the best we can do.

Yeah... I didn't say that 4 years ago. I voted for Clinton, like most sane people did. Bit of a reach there, you may have a grade 2 muscle strain doing that.

Alright, I'll fall back on the claim I made, but on this forum, its hard to keep track with so many Trump supporters.

The point wasn't at all that we want an inexperienced candidate just cause the Republicans did, rather that they are using those points whenever certain names are mentioned when they were the ones using the fact that Trump had no experience as a plus. Hypocrisy.

I personally don't care too much for experience, too much experience for so many Politicians here means so many stains in their history that can be magnified through Republican agendas to confuse undecided voters. They perfected this last time with the emails issue.

Keisha might not have won a major race before, but she has momentum. Warren has experience, but can she win votes that wouldn't be there before for Biden especially since Bernie has endorsed him and the progressive wing will stand by the candidate this time. Kamala can be picked apart, likewise Amy now with her history with Minneapolis. I believe someone like Keisha can attract votes that wouldn't be there for Biden more.

Black men barely vote. not an issue.

Harris is very popular amongst women, suburban and minority and has a national name.
Spoken like a true faq..

Men vote

No she has a terrible track record with crime Bill's. She will be destroyed.

Now I’m seeing the “well Republicans can attack on their record” argument.

Guess what? That was the same argument used on Biden and he’s doing fine.

None of these picks will change voting numbers any appreciable amount. However, you do need someone that is qualified enough to run the country if the Pres goes down.

That means Rep, governor, head of government department, or Senator experience.

This isn’t a Republican ticket so making excuses about the quality of their nominees is irrelevant.

This year has shown that we want and need progressive policies from healthcare to criminal justice reform. Almost feels like a kick to nuts that we'll have to go back the typical pre-Trump political shenanigans :francis:
Progressive voters and politicians are going to need to ramp up and apply pressure

No she hasn’t. Just because she shytted on Trump during these riots mean nothing. Abrams has been on TV damn near every week since she lost her race. Prime SOTU response. You can argue she’s been groomed since she was a teen when she was speaking at the MMM. She has more name recognition than bottoms. Why are you even trying to debate this?
What's MMM?

Uncertain grounds
I will for the last time reiterate that biden needs to pick someone that he is comfortable working alongside. Due to his age, he will need someone easy for him to collaborate with and lean on from time to time as well as potentially run in 2024 if he cannot. He does not need a demographic play whatsoever to beat trump. The main sticking point of his candidacy was that he could win back swing states. It wasn't that he could win back swing states with the caveat of having a specific VP able to do so.

So Black family picture = Bottoms for VP. I have a black family picture. Why don’t they pick me?

Everybody is overthinking it.... drop the we just have to pick a female pandering and select the person who would be best able to step in as president.

Kamala is the obvious choice.

Former California AG. Tough on crime. Humble upbringings. Half black.

Progressives (left of me) will attack her for her record on crime as AG in California. But who are they going to vote for otherwise? Trump? Lol

Conservatives will smear her and say she fukked for tracks.
