There is a lot of garbage there in the high end section of fragrances. Some of those LeLabo and Byredo scents are rehashed , expensive versions of scents you can buy at a Sephora or Macy’s. I kid you not, one of the fragrances they sprayed at the counter smelled like Raid roach spray.

Yea. Bond number 9 was the one that’s absolutely ridiculous for me. Nothing was too unique, and they want an arm and a leg for bottles. I used to have a 10 dollar Michael Jordan cologne that smelled almost exactly like new Harlem. Just absurd. Couldn’t complain about free shyt though. I liked a lot of the serge Lutens stuff, but it’s so fukking hot here they are tough to wear
Serge Lutens smells great! There’s one fragrance they make, I can’t recall the name but it smells like Noir Ottoman candles by Kilian. It’s a rose and leather scent. A former colleague of mine put me into that House. Good shyt breh.

The reviews said there are different batches. Apparently the silver nozzle or black nozzle released pre 2018 had better overall experience. I've been using 5-8 (its winter here) from the black nozzle 2018-2019 batch. Around 30 mins the projection is GODLY but drops sharply. @bold -- this projection is ideal for me. A good 2-3 meter & potential of strongly lingering on fabrics (want these hoes to smell me when I'm gone). The lingering is there, just the projection. SMH I also got a leaking nozzle (couple reviewers had this too). Gonna see if I can buy another decant/canister and transferring it over. Its good cologne but its become a product of its hype. Will use for a week and see if it improves. I'll admit today has been better. Upped it to 8-10 sprays & its been good.
