Coli keep giving me ads for it :ehh:
Yes. Scent Split is official and 40 Knots is one of my favorite Xerjoffs. Truly a year around fragrance.

WOW - basil and pear?

I usually avoid Bond #9, but interesting
I feel the same way. I think I only like 2-3 Bonds. (Scent of Peace, Nomad, and Lafayette Street). Everything else is overpriced or just don't agree with me. Jones Beach was possibly the worst thing I've ever smelled.

I really like Byron Parfums. I had their Mula Mula before but it cracked in my luggage when traveling.

Long lasting fragrance unlike the last two I purchased (TF Oud Wood and DG The One Gold).

Idk if I don’t pick em right or I’m just nose blind but I swear I could bathe in these fragrances and have em wear off before 11am.

But I think this is common across the board these days with high end colognes.

To give you a baseline of my tastes for Fall Winter/Warm and Spicy (I like warm weather scents as well, but this ain't that)
  • Notes - Tobacco, Rum, Whisky, Vanilla, Coffee, Cinnamon, Clove, "Warm Spices", Leather, Gunpowder, Cade Oil, Incense
  • Top Tier for me - Tobacco Vanille, Tobacco Oud, Khamrah Qawha, Treacle (Pineward), One Million Prive, Man in Black, Ombre Leather EDP, Tabac 28, T-Rex, Rhinoceros, Tobacco Blaze, Rich Warm Addictive, Malt/Smoke (by Akro), Herod, Vanilla in Bourbon, Plum in Cognac., Musc Ravageur, Ebene Fume, Royal Tobacco
  • Middle of the Road - Side Effect, Angel's Share, Stronger with You (I think I might have 80% of the flankers though)
  • joints in this genre, that I don't like
    • Noir Extreme (too sweet), Jazz Club, Coffee Break, By the Fireplace, Pure Coffee, Bentley Intense, Anything with strong "sandalwood"
Opening - Starts warm, the pineapple and mango are sort of there in front end, but they disappear.

Mid and Dry Down - The cigar/vanilla and lowkey the Patchouli and Musk last throughout. The cigar part isn't most prominent, like you'd get in a lot of more tobacco forward joints. At the end it's very much on the amber-y tip.

Projection - not very far, but I might need to verify that. Most of the JPGs Le Male's just jump off my skin. Rasasi's Tobacco Blaze is another one that 3 sprays and I'll choke out the entire mall.

Longevity - I don't like "beast mode" (Red Tobacco, Sauvage Elixir, Oud for Glory are all joints I kinda like but have to scrub off after 12 hours) - so this is about 3-5 hours and sitting close to the skin. It's very much something I wear for me, and if I'm on a date and we get close, she'll notice it.

Definitely get a decant (like me). I'll prolly reup to 9 mls'.

If I didn't already have too many fragrances, I'd consider getting a bottle. But if you don't already have a bookshelf full, this is in that warm/spicy genre and it has LOTS OF COMPETITION. It's a nice to have, definitely try if you like this style of fragrance, but it's not gonna make anyone's top 10. It might make my top 100.
