Sotd basic ass br 540
I can't commit to a full bottle of this. Its gonna take me years to finish the 5mL decant b/c this shyt is strong. Red Tobacco has nothing on this. I wanted to get hands on Jamaican Tobacco from Alghabra but I heard its a lot like African Leather.I got the decant on year 1, but it had that Amouage price tag. (380)

great scentSOTD Guerlain L'Homme Ideal edt
Very solid for a edt
Notes: cranberry, plum, blood orange, cloves, nutmeg, fir balsam.
Yuletide glogg, mulled wine on Christmas night. An unfiltered mélange of rich cranberry, fir, and spices. The same formula as the 2021 edition.
Parfum extrait+ compounded at 31%.
So i tested this out tooCopied and pasted some scents from my collection into Claude.AI and asked it give me some layering combinations and even a suggested spray routine based off the notes. Gonna try one out today before I report back.
Lovesuede + Ascension: Both have fresh, green elements that would harmonize - the aquatic accord in Lovesuede would complement Ascension's fresh earth and papyrus. They also share fig and bergamot notes. The leather from Lovesuede would add depth while keeping the overall combination relatively light and wearable for daytime.
- Start with 2-3 sprays of Lovesuede across chest and shoulders
- Layer 2 sprays of Ascension on pulse points
- Safe for closer application since these are lighter fragrances
- Can be refreshed midday with a single spray of Ascension
SOTD - Rabanne 1 Million Golden Oud
Top notes: Nutmeg, Saffron, Black Pepper and Bergamot;
Middle notes: Gurjan balsam, Patchouli and Sandalwood;
Base notes: Leather, Oud, Cedarwood and Labdanum
Initial impression is this ish is heavy on the leather and wood(s), no so much, Oud. Def real bitter, spicy and a far cry from the OG DNA for sure---which I could see myself cuttin' it with when I'm not in the mood for the extra boldness.
I was thinking on blind buying this, but those this stuff really smell good and is it worth price? Or is it just hype?
I own the OG, Prive, Lucky and Royal. The last release Royal smelled really really nice, so I was thinking this Golden Oud would be on par, since i see reviewers saying it is the best flanker.Were you thinking of buying this specific flanker or the OG, 1 Mil Lucky, the elixir or the parfum or something? Cuz most people hype the Lucky joint fr.
This one right here...I would not cosign blind buying at all. You need to cop a sample. The dry-down is a lot more digestible for most probably (powdery/sweet kind of) but overall it is loud & abrasive & it's not for everybody by any means.
