Tested the first fragrance today:
Eau de parfum
Olfactive family: Gourmand Amber
Perfumer: Julien Rasquinet
Concentration: 22%.
Imagine diving into the atmosphere of the most famous and legendary nightclub in the world – New York City’s Studio 54 with its euphoric blast of excitement, cutting edge dance music, the madness of the jet set crowd and always something unexpected, plus the rumored use of forbidden "you know what's?"

*Definitely like this. It's strong. I smell patchouli off top. Then pineapple and coconut. I also get a lil cinnamon and tobacco. But mostly I get patchouli, pineapple and coconut the most. This projects off skin. Lasts a long time and good sillage.
Expensive as hell for a full bottle.

A few years ago I had em in a mini fridge but I ended up pulling em out. I think I had read something about the cold temps messing with the chemistry of the fragrance or something. So now I keep mines at room temp, or even a little warmer with it being winter time.
If anybody got advice on what temps to keep em at please drop it.
Yeah I know you know your stuff based on the little interactions I’ve had with you because I feel the same way and I think it does alter the scent a little but depending on the scent it may enhance it or hinder it. When I worked at luxury department stores the fragrance specialist would recommend putting them in a mini fridge and he knew a whole lot more about it than me. I’ve also heard the bottle will slowly evaporate if it’s not properly stored so idk how to move preserving the bottles

nah i dont, just keep the frags im not using in a storage drawer.
I have a few decants in the "crisper" of my fridge to stop evaporation loss.
My observations
- I don't think it stops evaporation much on some decants - most perfume is 70-80% perfumer's alcohol, but the oils/chemicals that give cologne it's smell evaporate at different rates than the perfumer's alcohol. (hence, top, middle, and base notes - those are all just evaporation rates). Some parts of the fragrance just naturally leave first.
- Sprays better when warm.
- Smells better when warm
My Black Friday joints are starting to come in.
Got that 2nd D'Annam discovery set. (I'd say 4 out of the 9 are good)

Pineward is one of those indie brands you read about that's run by one person (which probably means it's a secret division of some conglomerate..)

Notes: cranberry, champaca, cherry compote, raspberry, fir balsam, chocolate, davana attar, oakmoss, tolu balsam, rose, frankincense.
Off rip, ^ all that up there, is definitely in this, but I'd play the lotto more often if I could actually sniff out the differences.
It smells like it smells. It's not bad, but it's not blowing my socks off.
It reminds me of another indie fave (?) Solstice Scents (FL)
Another piece of the fragrance puzzle.
