SOTD - Stronger With You - Absolutely

It's funny how tastes change, and possibly how fragrance changes with time.

My memory of this is much better than what I'm getting today. Are my tastes changing? Maturing?

It's nice, and I would recommend, but not going out of my way to get this one.

Also, copped that Lattafa - Khamrah Qahwa - so their clone of Angel's Share + a coffee note.
It's got that sharp "perfume" smell in the opening and throughout.
Compared to other coffee joints I have, the coffee is there, but not overpowering.

And wrt to Angel's Share - that always came off as Apple Pie/One Million Lucky Prive. I don't really sense that DNA here.

how many sprays y'all be doing?

Depends on how strong the cologne is I'm gonna be wearing that day.

If it's something strong I go one or two sprays at the most.

If it's a lighter smell then I go 4-6 sprays.


Something like YSL L'Homme is so light you can spray the whole 100ml bottle and still not choke people out.

Qwaha is it's own scent overall, it's marketed as a clone but it doesn't smell like Angle's Share. A good clone of Angel Share is Kismet Magic/Angel and even better one is Fragrance World Royal blend.

I say I'm not into gourmands per se, but I got a ton of spices.

SWY Absolutely is one that I like.

But I should have worn it a few times before getting a bottle.

It's a fragrance that I like when I first smell it.
A few hours later, I am ready for something else.

I have found that sampling doesn't paint the whole picture. I have to wear a cologne to see how I feel about it throughout the day. I feel like SWY Absolutely doesn't change a lot on my skin and it's disappointing. I still like it tho. But it's not a love.

its like when i spray it that rum and lavender explosion hits.. then dry down rum and nutty .... then when I get hot... its vanilla rum and like a piney scent...

I just can't seem to detect any changes for me.
Like WIA said earlier, I think it's possible noses change over time. I suppose fragrance batches can change over time.

Most of the decants that I still have, I enjoy them for a reason. And all of the full bottles I have, I do like to some degree.
It's just that right now, SWY Absolutely isn't hitting for me the way it did at first sniff. And I can tell you when I first got a decant of it I was IN LOVE. Someone here posted a bottle they had on Fragrancebuy.ca and I rushed to get it ASAP.

I was glancing at my decants now and while this might be blasphemy, Xerjoff Nio is probably the most overrated fragrance that I have a decant of.
I just don't like it.

No matter how hard I try, I can't get with the green leaves note that it has. It overpowers everything in my nose.

This is significantly better than I remember it. I know I was not all that impressed when I bought the decant months ago.

SOTD- MFK- Aqua Universalis Forte' layered with J'Adoube by Mind Games.

Clean as hell. Love this combo and J'Adoube by itself is definitely signature scent worthy.
