What’s the difference this and the black? The black is my shyt right now
I’m getting a full bottle of that one. The Prada Luna Rossa Black, the ladies love that one. I’ve seen many videos of blind smell tests, ratings etc. Same with Spicebomb Extreme which I already own. And Dior Homme Intense.
Great Fall/winter Scents

With me, I only ever owned 1 growing up. Some cheap Adidas I got at the grocery store. Back then if I smelled somebody with a lot on, I thought they must be wearing that much because they probably stink or something. But then there were always those people that did it right and they might walk past you and it was like damn, she smells good.

Then about 4 years ago, I watched some video on the top 10 selling fragrances of all time, don't remember how I got to that video. Then from that, I got sucked into it. When I get into something, I get into it. Started subscribing to a bunch of YouTube fragrance channels, started a speadsheet, I wanted to try all the top ones. Right that is up to 216 different fragrances I've tried. Samples, decants, mini bottles, travel testers, the cheapest I could find. Whichever ones I like, I buy the full bottle. I don't like much.I do multiple passes and separated them into No, Ok/Maybe and Yes. I'm on my 3rd and final pass, almost done.

Then, I was thinking of starting a site which would be kind of like Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic. Where I took the scores of different sites, merchants. List them all, also combine them into 1 score. Upload spreadsheet onto site where people could sort by score, by note, season etc. But Fragrantica is a great site go get info.

So watching all those videos over the years, plus my own testing, fragrances like ones I mentioned, Prada Luna Rossa Black, Dior Homme Intense, Spicebomb Extreme. It's always the same reaction. They love that stuff. I tend to like more Fall/Winter scents. Don't really like citrus, except I like the one I'm wearing today, Versace Pour Homme, a 4.3 score.

As far as fragrance YouTube channels. Jeremy Fragrance has the most subs but this is the best one - https://www.youtube.com/c/GentsScents/videos

Guy is like an encyclopedia of fragrance knowledge. Even the guy that has the most subs, did a top 10 fragrance people (not including himself) and he had him at #1.

Is it clear and beachy? Like high?

New West is a men's cologne that combines top notes of lavender, mint, and sea to create the scent of an ocean breeze. Middle notes of jasmine and watermelon give it a fruity aroma, and a touch of leather adds a masculine odor that completes this casual fragrance

I do not like that one at all. Have a travel spray tube of it. It's one of those classic ones that you see on some top lists but that one went into the No bag for me. This is another channel I follow. This girl seems to have the same tastes as me. She's knows her stuff. Moved to Dubai, has her own fragrance line I think. Boyfriend is a perfumer.

She can't stand that one either and also another popular one, Dior Homme Parfum. That one is just too strong for me but very popular as well. I like the Dior Hommes, the EDT, I just ordered Dior Homme Intense last night.

With that kind of thing, as I said, I made a list of all the popular ones. Popular because most (not all) people like them and then I try to find the one I like as well.

My first month into this I bought this because I saw it on some top 10 list and it was cheap for a whole bottle - Encre Noire Lalique cologne - a fragrance for men 2006

It's like death to me. I don't like the Vetiver note, some people love it. And musk, depending on how it's blended. Sometimes it's like B.O., too much of it but other times it's blended well and nice. The one I posted above has both Vetiver and Musk.
