As far as application, I like to hit my neck, inside of my forearms and my shoulder blades. I typically get compliments when I walk past someone who doesn't know me whenever I go out.

As far as new fragrane, Jazz Club and Fireplace are AMAZING. Very unique scents that smell like money.

Appreciated bro, will pick up a sample of Jazz Club and Baccarat Rouge soon and see how it goes.

:salute:
Brehs I need some game.

I’m turning 20 next month and need some fragrances for January, I already have Tom Ford Noir Extreme and Burberry London but I don’t really get compliments on my cologne so I need some tips on application and some new fragrances.

at 20 those fragrances are too 'mature' for you. IMO you need more sporty type joints. Jimmy Choo, Africa, Invictus Aqua, Molecule 01, So Cal, Versace Eros Flame, 540, I would stay in this range. IMO but I say do what you like, you know?

What do you think of Noir Extreme? I have Noir but dont really like it that much to be honest

If you wanna just buy cologne the best ibe bought personally have been Versace Eros, Armani Code, I liked Joop Go aswell

But if you wanna try the oils Baccarat Rouge 540, Maison Margela Jazz club (cologne isnt that expensive either if I remember) and Tom Ford Tuscan leather are my favourites

You'll definitely get compliments with Baccarat rouge

Def will - but fam if you like the Tuscan Leather wait until we drop the tuscan Leather Intense, I hated the original but this one is FIRE!

Had it for a couple of years now, don’t like it that much in all honesty. Prefer Noir and the other Tom Ford samples I’ve had over the years.

Ill try and get my hands on some of the ones you’ve listed, I like Thierry Mugler A Man but in all honesty it seems at my age if you don’t wear Dior Sauvage or One Million you won’t get any mention of your fragrance :mjcry:

Didn't realize I was echoing what you said....

If you like One million go and buy One Million Lucky. its better than the original imo and not expensive

It dosent always have to be the cologne as to why your not getting compliments..

FACTS

Ill have people that have purchased and will say I didn't any compliments off there latest order... Im like wtf you want people to tell you smell good all day.. Maybe they said it once and they won't again. Doesnt mean you dont smell good. Did you get a haircut? Are your timbs leaning? :bryan:

Order arrived very quickly and the oils that I’ve tried have been nothing but fire, definitely will put another order in soon. Good looks on the samples @BronxBomber

Good looking my brother....

Sorry for taking long Im actually back and forth to NY my old earth has some health issues so Ive been all over for the last 5 months. Last treatment yesterday.

Got like 10 bangers on deck coming. Just testing Herod from Parfum de Marly...:snoop: It's SICK!

@BronxBomber Yeah I think we’re right on that.

Ill keep the more mature ones for work and formal events and go for something more age appropriate on weekends.

Btw is there a guide that explains the differences between oils and the other types?

Well it’s kinda personal preference but it’s not really oils vs cologne it’s the fragrance.
Check Fragrantica to see notes and ton of reviews. They show seasons and time of wear. This translates to oils. As far as age it’s hard to say because they don’t mention age.

I’ll say houses the Parfum de Marly is a great house for a younger person. Actually I’m wearing them as well I think it’s universal.

My impressions so far...
Under The Lemon Tree: I had high hopes for this one, hopin it would be versatile and started out nice...thought it would be a good light joint for work...but then as time went on it started smelling like that bug spray you put on to keep mosquitoes away. I guess that wouldn't be so bad if I didn't think it would keep away other creatures who wanna suck fluid outta me. Don't like this at all

Versace Eros: This one is cool...I was hopin it would be a lighter watery type of cologne...like a twist on Eau Fraich...but it is definitely not. Imma need some time to properly judge this one.

Jazz Club: Every bit as good as advertised. A bit unpredictable like jazz band improvising off the cuff...semi sweet...but not too sweet...smokey...leathery. It smells like this song sounds

This is a winner

No doubt, I tell people all the time fragrances are like wine, liquor, scotch. When I was young you couldn't give me anything but cheap ass liquor because I didn't see the difference in what it did. Or give me sweet wine or just 10 year scotch. Hit my mid late 20's I was like give me Henny its the best! Tried some other wines etc. Beers well give me a Becks I think Im something. Im now in my 40's if Myth old school cats are drinking Henny Im like :picard:... I get affinity Scotch which is pricey but I just need a double neat, MAYBE 2 and Im like yea life is good. Fragrances are the same, intro should be the Jimmy Choo's, the Ralphs, the Versaces etc.... When you get little more sophisticated you go to Margiela's and Tom Fords etc. When you get grey hair on your balls grab some Le Labo, Escentrics, MFK's etc....

Hopefully that helps some, it will take time but a year in you will know what works for you. I laugh when I smell old school cats wearing something young boys (No disrespect I wish I could grab some years back lol) wear.

:russ: at your Under Lemon Tree impression. Ill have to go back and wear that, because of the amount we had to test I only wore 2 days. Per the name, I thought it would be more lemony per say. That being said PEOPLE LOVE this one. Most of the Margiela line that we carry.

I Love the way Jazz Club drys down, it really is the embodiment of Jazz.

Eros is little too strong for me now, it leaves too much of a trail and too sweet for me at this point. Ill rock Flame here and there though, but just small amounts

Yea man only reason is costs like that is because it costs us 3 times more to manufacture. So we have seen 2-3 oil companies recently release this. We purchased and it smells similar to ours but it fades quick. We can get the cost down as we had to reformulated to be cheaper for us but we got the same effect it faded quickly. When we get it we have to heat it up and do a couple of other things to make it work. Sometime what we send out will crystalize over time or if it gets cold. Doesnt change the fragrance can heat it up and goes back to same liquid state. I know that is probably unneeded info :lolbron: but I had a min to type :russ:

What’s weird about Versace Eros is that I hate it but it’s probably my most asked about fragrance when I use to wear it. People love it on me.
