and this is where tact and style comes in. too many people equate being brash/rude/disrespectful/entitled with being honest. being honest doesn't mean you have to be an a$$hole. especially if you dont have it in you to be an a$$hole to begin with. a lot of dudes think being an a$$hole will get them further in life so they end up playing that role and then use the "I'm just being honest/keeping it real" justification to cover it up. Often times, the fastest way from point A to point B is a straight line. Not every chick will fukk with you. but the feeling of having a chick fukk with you just off of you being you is greater than the feeling of getting over on someone and tricking them.I agree with this for the most part. But specific to that scenario, most women dont want honesty. I've dealt with and heard from women that wanted to sleep with me / some dude but was "turned off" by me/him bein' too forward.
And by that scenario, I'm not referrin' to what dude did. I'm referrin' to tellin' a woman you want to sleep with her on a 1st date.
It has to be the woman's idea. She wants to invite you up for coffee, a drink, etc. It has to "just happen".
I'm not sayin' lies are necessary. But the straight up truth in that scenario tends to make women feel a way.

i think overall we agree. on a micro level, honesty doesn't work all the time. but on a macro level it's the superior philosophy as long as you're honest first and foremost with yourself (the most important person)
