I already said on numerous occasions there's no such thing as a collective only an individual. If everyone focused on themselves that would improve the situation but when you say we that puts everyone on the same level when we're not. Success is an individual accomplishment not a collective one.

Right but its ok if a black men say because they are being constructive. Yet lets talk about black menl not holding down a job, leaving their communities vulnerable to crime its generalizing.
In my opinion, the few civil rights leaders that were pro black were few and far between. It had become so common to the point people still mock it to this day. The black Panther movement had left many balck women inside very disillusioned by the so called unity perhaps by seeing the hypocrisy. Today these men talk about colorblindedness, its funny and interestinh if you think about it.
Mr. Cleaver had been denounced a hack yet he managed to have a large influence in the civil rights movement. Things like this makes me wonder if many exalted leaders were in it for themselves or genuinely wanted to see black people prosper.
I have never heard a community claim they want sovereignty but yet do everything that implies that dependence. Likewise spare the back to africa rhetoric and live your life.
