Brehs, if you're feeling some way about racism in America, feel better by researching SA!

:leostare: speak of that which you have no knowledge brehs.

Im a south african, and it can get fukn rough out here, but as coli people we should know the media paints its own picture.

For example, blacks got the government but who still got the money (therefore the power) :beli: racist ass cacs

We are in the process of transformation (although at this stage its more of a feeding frenzy for that gov money) but as it goes, keep the c00ns in the suits smiling and they're happy to leave it as it is for the down trodden lower class.

Biggest area of contention is the BBBEE policy, google it and lets speak on what yal think of it

Control the media, control how people think

This thread seems to yet again prove how dangerous and potent media manipulation is on human perception and eventual molding of a person's rational about overlapping political/racial/economical/religious ideologies and stereotypes

I don't know how rampant this raping babies is[ I don't condone it], but I can not believe this is the norm when the average minority white south african makes 5x more than a majority black south african. No way the rich minority will blindly allow their own to be targets of mass murder, while assisting them to gain tremendous wealth

The wealth imbalance is not surprising when you compare the "success" of SA compared to other African countries who have made it a mission to completely overturn the economic effects of apartheid

This story is akin to the "knockout" game that is supposedly happening in every state. It's happening, but is it close to being the norm

Just googled this. Amazing what time does to our perception of history and how the actions of yester-years affect us presently. I won't be surprised if apartheid is starting to be viewed as being too long ago to really factor in its effects on the current population

Spoken like someone with their ear to the ground :obama:

whats crazy is that i was born before apartheid came to an end, im 24 and yet vaaaast majority of my age group roll their eyes and shake their heads at the slightest mention of it, I completely understand wanting to move on, but it shouldnt be an out of sight out of mind mentality.

Sad part is that im in the legal industry and the latest craze is hiring black faces, mostly women. This is done to satisfy some of the BBBEE regulations and as a way of signifying moving forward, but behind the posters and billboards the real work, the real power moves and the real corporate ladder is reserved for a very specific demographic.

SA is incredible, unfortunately its tarnished and marred by extremes :to:

My boy once said that the eagerness of black folks to embrace "moving on" from key moments in their history is a sub-conscious and conscious survival kit that is implemented by both the educated and uneducated

Human nature is strange bruh. We have folks willing to die/fight/get arrested for their "thousands year old" religious doctrines, but those same folks won't hesitate to dismiss the consequences of one, relatively recent, crime to humanity, while actively seeking to address the consequences of another relatively recent, crime to humanity. Sadly, this attitude is common to both the descendants of the victim and perpetrator

Yeah I was put up on game that the money is still controlled by cac's...

:shaq:but give it time, them nikkas gonna get them pockets if they don't get the fukk outta there. The word over there is they're just waiting for Mandela to die and then they gonna let the dogs lose!

Of course we know that when the Blacks start touching certain people, those people gonna use money and influence to have the U.S. "assist" them in quellin the uprisings.

oh man and what a war it will be :wow:

If you know what the zulu's did with sticks and shields back in the day, imagine whats gonna happen when the airforce is involved and the foot soldier race ratio is 6:1.

to speculate on the internet is a terrible thing, but if the rich white man got america on speed dial, it makes sense that the current gov is buddying up to china.

We have so many natural resources here its only a matter of time before SA becomes another monoply board.

Best to come visit before the SHTF, we got weed weather and women with the best of em :takedat:

Na breh I'm not a cac,

Bbbee is broad based black economic empowerment, basically black people are given preference over other races (it's a sliding scale with white people being the lowest rank) for employment and entrance into tertiary education university etc.

The real friction comes in where a less capable black person is chosen or given preference over a more capable /qualified white person. It's Been called unfair and reverse racism, but mostly by the people that are now on the losing side of the guillotine.

I don't want to explain it myself because being a South African it's impossible for me to be completely objective, but I curious to hear what you think.

At the end of the day, extreme societies are like loaded pendulums. There's bound to be some back and forth before we come to Rest in peaceful equilibrium.

Made this thread yesterday: http://www.thecoli.com/threads/beyond-the-rainbow-white-extremists-in-south-africa.168886/

The white Afrikaner farmers are scared that when Mandela dies they'll be persecuted and hunted. So they've been starting rebel camps to train white kids for the war they think is coming. Jacob Zuma, the current president of SA, doesn't give a fukk about them. And he'll probably give even less fukks when Mandela does kick the bucket. Serves them right :smugfavre: Get the FUKK out. Go back to Europe. How'd you like it if a bunch of blacks came to Europe, took your land, made themselves your rulers and you, peasants and second class citizens in your own damn country :what: When apartheid was going on, it was all good, you was living it up :smugfavre: Now sh*t real

I think its good (if it is exactly as you described) because one thing you have to consider is that when a group of people is subjugated for generations at a time, that debt (and disadvantage) is accumulated and passed down from generation to generation while the white people are accumulating wealth that is passed down from generation to generation. So the only corrective action would be to do that same subjugation to the people who benefited in the past. (Subjugate white people.)

For example when slavery was overt in America, white people became crazy rich because of 400 years of FREE EMPLOYEES. After slavery is no longer legal (or overtly imposed) white's are sitting on 400 years of profit while black people have to literally start from scratch and some probably in debt. Look at Haiti after they won their freedom against the French. The Haitians were told to pay reparations to France.smh.
