I owned a PS2 + Gamecube. Was perfectly content. Got the 360 because Xbox Live was too good and I really wanted Left For Dead and Gears of War 2(trash). That along with the Wii for my nintendo exclusives had me content. Then I realized something...

And after it a while, I realized that all the games I had for 360 were also on PS3, but without all the exclusives I wanted to play. Never liked Halo, Gears sucks, and Left 4 Dead is only fun for so long

PS4 having an impressive debut IMO damn near sealed the deal for me. My mind set is that both the PS4 and X1 will share hundreds of games, but that the PS4 will AGAIN have superior exclusives. Throw in the fact that I strongly doubt Sony will drop the ball with their online service this time and X1 having a horrific debut thus far and I know what console I'm getting. Throw in the Wii U as my side girl for all the Nintendo exclusives I fukking love, and I'm set. It makes no sense in my mind to get both a PS4 and a Xbox One, so I'ma be Playtendo'd out this time around.

These next few days of E3 coverage will likely confirm my plans.

Why are you getting a Xbox One? What have they shown so far that has you undeniably sold?

I'm interested in the mindset of someone who is actually hyped for that console since everyone I've talked to is jumping on that Sony bandwagon.

As long as Naughty Dog keep making games for Playstation, I will always have their systems. Main reason I prefer Sony consoles. All the other franchises and 3rd parties are icing on the cake.

I've had a ps3 3 different times this gen. I just sold my Xbox 360 this week to basically trade for a ps3 JUST so I don't miss out on last of us lol.

I rolled with the Xbox this gen because IMO the online interface was much better, halo/gears, better multiplat versions, and most of my friends game on it. I also prefer the controller.

I kept buying ps3 off and on for certain games...next gen im just going to get both and keep both until the end of the gen.

There will be great games across the board fukk the fanboy shyt.

Forza Series, Nothing else can beat that for me. If Quantum break is anything close quality wise to Alanwake or Max Payne system is getting preordered tuesday.

This is like turning 18 and finding out that you were adopted all along now your parents treat you like shyt

But it really hasn't, and 360 is up there with my favorite systems of all time.

But in reality it was a fukking mess that milked consumers of their money. I was camping out to buy that shyt and I have seen those RROD countless times. I can't begin to think of the money I spent on just the base system when it comes to repairs and having to buy a 2nd system.

XBLA never offered any freebies like PS+ did. They charged to play games online where PS3 just allowed you to do that. PS+ gave you free games if you paid for their online service.

I will never have fond memories of how good MSFT been to me as a consumer. They flipped us upside and shaked the coins out of pockets.

But they did provide the best games this generation.

I'm going with Sony and Nintendo next generation. Microsoft's blatant disregard for the consumers is enough for me to leave. They come out trying to sell limitations as if they are doing us a favor. "You can share with your family!" "The Kinect can monitor your heartbeat!" Why the fukk would I want this shyt? Its gonna go from im just getting a ps4 to I'm getting both.

I know for sure there's games I want on both platforms and I know for sure I would love the kinect interface of the Xbox one for my bedroom.

At this point I'm solely getting a ps4 because of the supposed stronger hardware and the naughtydog franchises.

I don't think it will at all.

As a gamer I live off trade-in's, that isn't going to change after E3. MS has clearly presented their ideology on gaming, and it is the complete and total opposite of what mine is.

Then you add in the invasiveness of the system and all the restrictions that come with it, that isn't going to change.

I do not want that type of device in my living room, bottom line. I wouldn't buy the thing if it was $199 and came with a game. No exclusives are worth the creepy and restrictive features that are necessary to play that game
