Im not getting the Ta moko or any culturally siginificant tribal tatts, just the faux ones. Tho I could understand why islandsrs get pissed when an Australian cac gets them sacred tribal tattoos reserved for polys. i remember some australian dude who had the full maori ta moko sleeve tatts got into a fight with a maori gang because he was sporting similar tribal tatts to the gang leader at a beach party. Each tattoo represents a significant moment. I got tattoo for the birth of my child, one for wifey, one when I joined the army,one for each deployment, one for the death of a close relative, one for my faith, one when I graduated college and etc. They all represents a pivotal moment in my life. It means much more to me then a drawing on a wall. Each day when I wake up and take shower I'm reminded where I came from nobody can take that away from you.
