MTL brehs..there is just something about yall city and people that is so much more real and fun than these losers here in Toronto.

Like yall know how to have fun! I was out there last year stayed at a nice AirBnb loft downtown, and the food, the lounges, the music, the people all of it.

Me and my wife had a lot of fun. The cost of living is so fukking cheap compared to here too :mjcry:

But your winter is :damn: :damn:
boston breh but I like tdot more than montreal, i dont know why maybe it's becuase yall Caribbeans folk be way more live.

@Quiet thanks for the club recommendations :ohhh:

Yo I went to don b comber last night and shyt was bananas! They was playing everything. Mostly French hip hop but yo everyone in that bytch was vibing. First thing we noticed was that no one was on they cell phone on Instagram/Facebook/Snapchat and everyone was interacting shyt! I haven’t seen that since the early- mid 2000s. They may pulled it out for a few seconds but put it right back in their pocket/purse etc

Beautiful women everywhere! Wow I thought Miami had bad chicks but Montreal.... so many exotic looking women in one place:wow:

Felt like every race was in there just having a good time no one beefing just enjoying each other’s company! Mad people from the Caribbean out here felt like I was back home in Miami :myman: Headed to la banquise for a late night snack after that:whew:

the club was called le rouge bar

Weather will be great. Definitely hit Mt. Royal for the view and vibe. Not sure what kind of activities you like to do but the city is very green and biking around is dope as fukk. The botanical gardens & olympic stadium were cool too. I pretty much co-sign everything else everyone else has said in the thread too (that Boom J Jamaican food :blessed:)

this place was FIRE for breakfast..one of the best places i ever went to for breakfast

Allô! Mon Coco

i had some waffle concoction there that damn near gave me the shakes it was so sweet and sugary...everything tasted hella fresh too

shoutout to shawarmaz for holding me down when i was drunk
SHAWARMAZ

OP check out this bar called SuWu. its on saint laurent. fly ass spot, pretty ass women, good cocktails and they play straight hiphop...youll hear everything there...pharcyde, face, wutang, keith murray, pete & cl, dj quik

@Gator Reloaded another important thing...the US dollar is strong in Canada..so the prices you see on canadian sites are canadian prices unless explicitly stated ..if you carry cash, make sure you convert it to the canadian dollars...alot of establishments grumble about taking US currency lol..it makes things a lot easier outside of using a credit card which will do the automatic real time conversion to US dollars.. and alot of the time the cost is less than what you think it is

Old montreal

Renting a bike and just riding is the goat

crescent st for sure, st catherine st, st. denis st...they are all walkable and in the same vicinity i believe..there wasnt any particular bar/club i recommend...i just went to the ones that looked like it was poppin lol

Club Downtown is a pretty good strip club on Ste-Catherine near Drummond.

Wanda's on Maisonneuve is also pretty good, but it's a little more upscale, expensive and you can't touch the strippers during lap dances.

Chez Paree is the one I went to for strip club and that one was dope

Muziq night club on sat night
St lauren street

Ok

First off go for an airbnb downtown, you will pay less and get something way better thsn hotels in a similar budget

For strip clubs you got the typical paré but club down town has hungrier girls that would let you hit first or second base. If you have a car you could drive up to some raunchier spots an hour away.

Also if you do get a car take it to Mount royal, theres a spot where people park their cars and enjoy the city from a mountain in the middle of it, great views and your wife might enjoy it.

  1. For restaurants i would recommend Seasoned Dreams for quality jerk, kazu for japanese, Park for high end sushi, le Filet for seafood and celebrity sightings and barrocco for steaks and spanish food and just a beatiful spot.

For night clubs im outta the loop, used to go out 4 to 5 times a week before i got married and had kids so I can't really recommend but avoid Crescent unless you wanna hit up the generic touristy crap.

For clubbing in Montreal it's all about catching a spot on the night it's at it's best.

MONDAY - Blvd 44

TUESDAY - Don B Comber or Joverse

WEDNESDAY - Le Confessional or Peopl

THURSDAY - Bord'Elle (high end, mature crowd), Tokyo Bar (Student crowd), Somwhr (Local nightlife crowd)

FRIDAY - This would be my night I would go to a strip club. During tourist season most people are just getting into town on this day and don't end up in a nightclub so they opt for a bar or strip club. My suggested strip clubs would be Chez Parée or Kamasutra. Local Legend (black owned) is my suggested bar and Suwu is a similar kind of spot (cool, playing some old school hip hop) but white owned. Mixology cocktails you're looking for Coldroom in Old Montreal(you have to ring a doorbell to get in), Le Mal Necessaire in Chinatown, Big in Japan Bar on St Laurent Blvd (there's a restaurant with the same name, that's not what you're looking for, this is a speakeasy with no sign so google the address before you head over), Bar George (fancy), Atwater Cocktail Club (cool kids).

SATURDAY - Muzique (I'm very biased). Two rooms with one playing house/top 40 and the other playing hip hop/rnb/dancehall and an open air rooftop patio.

SUNDAY - Beachclub during the day in the summer is that whole Vegas scene with the big name dj and literally a few thousand people every time they open.

Sunday night you go right back to Muzique (I'm very biased).

RESTAURANTS
1.For sushi my go to spot is Saint Sushi on Duluth in the Plateau and they recently opened a second location in Westmount. It's quality product, well made, they play good music and the price is very low for what it is. Tasting menu is 35$ and you leave full and knowing what the place is all about.

2. If you can deal with the lineup or are able to show up during the day outside of lunch or dinner hours a half chicken with fries and salad from Ma Poule Mouillée on Rachel is 12$. You will be hooked.

3. If you haven't tried a smoked meat at Schwartz Deli yes it is worth a try and very good. Do it like a local though. If you show up during the day you're going to see a giant lineup but right next to Schwartz Deli is a Schwartz Deli counter, just walk in and order a sandwich medium with a black cherry soda. Lives up to the hype if you didn't wait 30 minutes to get it..

4. My preferred caribbean restaurants are Boom J's for Jamaican and a Trini spot called Tropical Paradise on Decarie.

5. iL Focolio and Santa Lucia both have one of the few wood burning ovens left in downtown Montreal and make sick pizza.

6. If you want to break the bank the chef at Jellyfish is doing some really interesting things on a daily basis. Park for sushi is an incredible experience if you're having a big night out as well.

7.L'Avenue and Le Passe Compose are both incredible brunches if you're the kind of person who can handle a crazy lineup (I'm not).

8.Holder in Old Montreal and Douro in Little Italy are both great higher mid range options that I would suggest for a nice night out with your girl.

9. Walk into Amigos in Chinatown and order the fried pork chops all dressed and use the hot sauce on the table.

Some other good moves are getting a coffee from Cafe Olimpico. Grab a bagel from St Viateur Bagel or Fairmount Bagel(we're better at bagels than New York). Jog up Mount Royal and get a view of the whole city. Grab a poutine from any non chain restaurant, the sketchier and frencher the place is the better it's going to be. Walk through the underground city downtown with miles and miles of malls and buildings connecting to each other. Our casino is trash but i've been to worse. There's always some kind of festival going in Montreal from week to week all summer long.

THIS IS THE YEAR TO COME TO MONTREAL. 1 United States Dollar is worth 1.33 Canadian. It's like you have 33% off everything.

Call your credit card company and tell them you're travelling. Your card should be fine 95% of places will take credit card but you still might want cash just to be safe.

Once that's done you can shop with your powerful ass dollar (Off The Hook, New Regime, Artgang Boutique, Dime) will all have you heading back home with some Montreal streetwear you might not find back home.

The Montreal Museum of Fine Art is dope.

The Notre Dame Basilica is impressive but not something I would go out of my way if I'm on super a limited schedule but if you're here for the week it's worth your time to see.

Six Flags owns a theme park here called La Ronde.

The Tam Tams on Mount Royal just off park avenue every Sunday. It's basically hippies playing drums and blazing up together outside. It's cool.

Recreational marijuana is legal in Montreal for anyone over 18. You don't need a dope man just your i.d and you walk right into a SQC and you can buy weed.

We have non stop festivals all summer long here. May 18th - 19th we have the first year of Metro Metro Festival with Cardi B, Snoop & Future headlining. In June you have the Jazz Festival, the Mural Festival, Grand Prix (biggest and most expensive weekend of the year in Montreal), Beer Festival. July you get Just For Laughs Comedy Festival (biggest in the world), the International Fireworks competition every Wednesday and Saturday night (traffic is a nightmare but the Old Port of Montreal is popping on these nights). August there's Osheaga and Ile Soniq music festivals.

Check out the Quartier Des Spectacles there's always something going on there day and night in the summer.

Bota Bota Spa to nurse your hangover after a proper night out in Montreal.

I'm in Montreal right now. Staying in Laval area with some childhood friends. Tho i may switch to a hotel tonight or tomorrow night since i got this tiny little haitian chick who i'd been chatting with on a haitian FB group and she wants the D badly. SHould have smashed yesterday. She showed up with no undewear on ready to go... but kids came home early :snoop:

I'm going to Montreal for the 1st time in 10 days. Really hope I have fun there, cuz I'm only there by myself for like a week. I knew it was a good idea to bookmark this thread

One of the coolest cities I've been to. At first I was :patrice: but it got better and better the longer I stayed.

Def recommend going during the summertime. Pawgs was on point. Saw someone walking around regularly with they ass checks out, another with her cameltoe showing:whoo:

Don't need to speak French but knowing it helps A LOT.

Very safe city. But people begging on the street for money is a problem

L'Avenue was horrible, but Seasoned dreams was fire. Jerk Chicken Poutine and Plantain :ohlawd:
