I remember around that time mad nikkas wanted Tua to give Chris that Ike treatment. Even the commentators were expecting him to get that work. Bryd ending up proving mad nikkas wrong that night. Bryd was bouncing crazy combo's off dude's head and really had Tua looking bad. He hardly ever gets props for beating the last good in shape version of David. If he had more power he prolly could have gotten a knock down or stoppage the way dude was fading down the stretch. Same thing with the McCline fight.
Bryd was just in the wrong era as far as his skills being appreciated. Right now he'd get stanned to death the way so many nikkas equate boring shut outs to skills. To his credit he never fought scary to me and he defended greatly while letting his hands go in combinations. Cats shytted on his power, but he always ending up stunning or hurting dudes anyway.
