I'm pretty brown skinned compared to the rest of my family members where everyone is very dark except for me, my mother and my sister.
I will say one thing, i definitely got better responses from very dark skin girls like Haitians and Africans, but my very dark skin half brother got the opposite play from mixed girls and white girls instead. I never got the same responses from light skin women and nearly always they went for either extreme darkies or fellow lighties, especially back in high school.
But now, i don't really face discrimination from women regarding my skin tone, except Dominicans. I actually wished i was darker growing up, but genetics made me what i am
I had one ex that used to call me "milk chocolate" as a nickname back in college
