The Fiend can lose and still be mysterious. How strong he looks depends on how he loses though. If he loses a 2 minute squash to Goldberg it doesn't look good, but if he were to withstand for 10 minutes, then it looks a lot better.
They can book a Roman victory pretty easily because Roman for the most part, has been the same character since his main roster debut. He didn't have any significant changes like Finn, DBry and Seth. That puts a hole in the whole "I know the real you" shyt.
Overall the longer this gimmick goes, the wacker it gets to me. If he keeps the belt after Mania I need him to fix Shinsuke and bring back the GOAT theme and the violin nikka.

Fiend became wack after he ate 8 curbstomps and all sorts of fukkery in the span of 3 minutes and was still kicking out at 1. 
Probably not.
The only way this works is if it is a 3 way match and someone else takes the fall or either they actually let the Fiend win the match and give Bray the big win he needs and deserves after all these years of jobbing in big matches.
