I use Fidelity.

Robinhood's popularity was based on the zero-fee trading.

But, Fidelity and others have caught on.

can't speak for everyone but I have a main TD Ameritrade account
Robinhood is my side chick of sorts. It was my first account but now I just have one because I like the black debit card

A ten dollar stock going down one dollar isn't considered crashing. Unless you are day trading, which most people are not built for such a life, throw money you can afford to lose into this and don't check it until like 6 months.

I know this... but when all my stocks was suffering that day it was like... I play the game knowing I only bet what I can afford to lose...

I just like winning man...

you have to transfer funds to make trades
if you try to buy something with more funds than you have (unless you have margin) it tells you to add funds to your account

sometimes...in terms of hours TD ameritrade's thinkorswim is open 24/5
RH i believe is open from 9am -4 pm est (including extended hours)
