Dude is an OG fashion world bussy boy and token who probably thought his “spot” in fashion was enough to insulate him. But based on his book, dude was getting treated like shyt along the way and no matter how “pretty” fashion looks on the outside it’s ugly on the inside like a lot of things in this work.
with that said if you don’t have mansion money what the fukk are you doing in there. Handshake agreements and hookups clearly don’t mean shyt now that he’s dead weight on the fashion world, old and useless.
He better get his certs in order
Hold on now. I'm all for disapproving of bad business - in this case what sounds like handshake agreements. But there's no cause or reeason to disrespect the dude and call him a token. He was made editor of Vogue in 1988...just two quick minutes of googling made me realize the guy is legit and a legend in that world. He wasn't given anything, he earned it. At a time when black people weren't being given shyt by that racist ass industry. He deserves his respect for that. Everything else you said about his handling of business...I agree with.
You'd think a black dude from that era would be thriving right now and far more well known. Sounds like he never evolved.
