I’ve said this before but my old high school friend was a 5ft4 pale Irish leprechaun… and he stayed smashing baddies! I’ve seen him literally take dime girls from their athlete/model boyfriends.
Why?
Because he’s charismatic, funny and most importantly ISN’T insecure. Once I saw him in action back in school, I’m stopped being shy and awkward around women. You just have to be confident if front of them, even if you aren’t.
I wish brehs would understand this. Yes, height, looks, money can make initial impressions easier, but women can smell a lame from a mile off. If you have ZERO game, height will account for nothing.

5'7, 170 (I've lost weight), never been rejected on height. The average woman is shorter than me so while I'm short, I don't really get viewed as dumb short, and women in my height range (5'5 to 5'9) don't view me as short like that either...
I've known a grip of women 5'10 or taller who wanted to take me down and a handful of them, I did...
Height is one of those "on paper" things that, most women want a man taller than them, but it's not something women actually shyt on men for or an absolute that they desire in a man...

And I'm not glorifying that lifestyle at all but, like you said, height is more obsessed over online than irl.
Obviously, tall brehs have a general advantage just like handsome brehs have a general advantage but attraction is still pretty diverse and unpredictable irl.
Also, short and fat brehs with a great sense of humor or good social skills in general will often have women overlooking their height and weight irl. I've seen that play out quite a few times.
