Americans eating slop and happy about it

This is probably one of the reasons why the US has the stance that it does. :patrice:

Edit: it doesn't make it right, and competition should make the other OEM's step their game up, but that's neither here nor there. Although, I will say this, if BYD were to come in, they'd probably kill what's left of Stellantis.

China found out that they couldn't compete with internal combusion engines, so the a government of 1 billion plus, decided to double down on EVs, Solar, Batteries, and a bunch of other "future" technologies - all of which came out of the West.

The US and the EU said, we'll let the free market choose which tech is the winner, because there is no way that government can or should pick a winner.

And now we're seeing the results.

Someone in the comments said when they went to China dang near every car was EV.

Said the city was quiet and smelled like fresh air everywhere :wow:

I’m telling you, if they bring those here at that same price point I’ll gladly buy one and buy a premium Ford Mustang right along with it because all that money saved over time.

What city? Because china is known for some of the worst pollution but they do have many ghost cities.

That new SUV is 700+ miles on a single charge?

Yeah, those vehicles are not making their way here.

Imagine a fully-loaded SUV only having to recharge/refuel once a month.

Gotta say, there's some large (Tahoe/Suburban sized) camouflaged vehicles with no exhaust running around Plano and Detroit/Ann Arbor. One of the OEM's might be developing something in regards to battery tech for EV's.

Them mafukkas can't even make basic products that work properly and last. Imagine buying an automobile.

Buddy an idiot. Any vehicle straight when it's brand new out the factory.
People buy shytty American cars all the time. Thinking China can’t build decent cars is a mistake.

The produce cheap garbage products because that’s what people want to buy, doesn’t mean that’s all the make
