I see alotta responses in this thread are dominated by wannabes saying simple shyt like "I can tell some of you never played".
FOH. If any of you that see this as a good thing, if you played.....your ass was never any good! Because if you were, and you ever played for a coach worth a damn and the coach gave a damn about you....he'd be all up in your shyt behind this. If I was Collins coach I'd hate that this video is out there. What you cool, underachieving trash talkers don't know because you don't play anywhere past the local park or rec center is that college recruiters are even looking into players social media feeds now. Questionable content gets your name crossed right off many lists. Your social media presence matters BIG TIME if you're a highly recruited athlete. What scout you think is salivating over this video? You think Avery ain't call this kid? And not to say "I like that fire!" either. I know this subject well. I coach AAU hs basketball, middle school basketball, and I'm the father of a top 50 junior in the country. This is about him trash talking a grown man coaching the opposing team. Nothing more nothing less. You wanna trash talk players on the court? Do you, have at it. Don't come at me tho. Cuz I'm get at YOUR coach during the game and your parents if you got any afterwards.

Is this your daughter g?

jordan-nixon

The #1 player is the class is a family friend with her older brother. She can really hoop and might be the best player in the nation regardless of age. She actually is a fluid dunker and looks good doing it.

No but my daughter is on that list

I saw that too.

I'm guessing he wanted to stay close to home.
It seems funny that a top 10 prospect would go to a school like Alabama for basketball.
Robert Horry, Latrell Sprewell and Antonio McDyess went to Bama so it's possible he could make it anyway.
But why not one of the ACC or Big East schools?

Alabama hasn't been in the NCAA tournament since 2012. And not since 2006 before that.

When he was an unknown nationally Alabama built a relationship with him, and he decided to honor that after he became a 5 star. His motor and ambition are next level, I'm defintely keeping an eye on dude.

True. But is game is legendary to anyone who watched him play with the magic.

I agree. His playing style had a certain uniqueness/charisma to it.He was dynamic. The first player to make me go "Yo Mike & Scottie can't guard this dude:ohhh:"

But I don't think people really understand that.Especially the johnny come lately:yeshrug:

God gives you the athleticism, capability to learn, and court vision, but because you're 5'8 your shyt gets swatted on the regular:mjcry:

People guarding me look like Mutombo out there:mjcry:

Dude's got an edge to him.

Could just be a disrespectful dikkhead, but I see it more as a guy who's had to work for everything. A guy who's gotten overlooked and plays with a chip on his shoulder as a result.

He sees Penny's son as a privileged kid who's gotten everything handed to him - dad's an ex pro so he has access to the best training $ can buy.

This article pretty much confirms it:
Collin Sexton was lying face down under the beating afternoon sun in suburban Atlanta when George Washington wondered if he had finally pushed his best player too far. Sexton was doing conditioning work with an altitude mask as he collapsed on the school track on a hot, early summer day. As the Pebblebrook High School coach rushed over to pick him up, Sexton stumbled to his feet and prepared to finish the drill.

Washington had purchased the mask for Sexton days earlier when he found out he received a late invite to try out for USA Basketball’s U17 team. The camp was in Colorado Springs and Sexton was hellbent on being prepared as possible for the increase in elevation.

“He wanted to be on that team so bad,” Washington said. “A lot of those other guys had been there before, so they were privileged. His job was to be the hardest worker. I told him, if you out work everyone, they can't deny you.”
How Collin Sexton went from unranked to a 5-star recruit

You'll be rooting for the kid after reading that article.
