First, i actually speak their langauge, i can understand their media an culture, and i regularly interact with korean men. I have a friend named Jin that i met way back in calc 2 in college and he is repeatedly tellling me just how superficial his own people are with the plastic surgery and anorexia. And dude admitted this stuff to me as a black outsider, so i dont even wanna know what korean dudes tell eachother.
Second, the girl with the look below was considered chunky for her era among their people. To the extent that this poor woman was bullied into starving herself. While i personally preferred her at this weight class; they forced Jihyo to be desirable because she was getting no modeling contracts, no acting roles, and consistently ranked towards the bottom of her 9 member group despite being the most talented.
After much pressure, starving, and threats of removing her income stream they turned her into the picture below because this is their ideal in that country….
And she miraculously started getting acting roles, promotional deals for makeup, clothing, etc.
The woman @RARI_Godwind posted in the OP is an order of magnitude chunkier than the first pic of pic of Jihyo i posted above, meaning that the korean chick in the OP is way out of bounds for their society. Trash status.
