Moral of the story, kids are dumb as fukk.I remember back in HS everyone used to ROAST this one Jamaican kid every single day because he used to wear clothes that fit him (This was back when everyone used to wear baggy shyt)
Now fast forward some years and that baggy shyt is outta style and all the people that used to clown breh dress just like him now, which means homie took all that abuse for nothing

Niccas use to roast me hard in high school about my clothes.
I remember my mom brought me some shoes that look like Adidas but with four strikes. The shoes looked nice and niccas roast me the first three days I wore it. Baggy Clothes were mad popular back then but my parents were old school Haitian parents, that shyt was allowed. My pants would get roasted for being fitted. That's one of the big reason I am pro uniform in inner city schools. We all on free lunch, all from house holds that live pay check to pay check yet we roasting each other on our shoes n shyt.
Yup. Same here. My parents wouldn't by any name brand shyt for me. Got roasted daily by other broke nikkas. Nikkas would routinely skip school to cop J's. Fast forward to today and those values instilled by my folk turned me into the boss I am today.

I had those LA Gear running shoes with the removable light up cartridge . Mad comfortable and nikkas didn't give me shyt because LA Gear was still in style back then. Pro Wings was the kiss of death when I was in school as well as wearing skater shoes if you were black. I got roasted more for trying to wear one of those knockoff Affliction shirts I got from a well known MMA fighter at the time.
I thought the shyt was cheesy as hell but dude was like he was doing me a favor wearing his gear

takes my back to when i was in sixth grade. i never really had any nice shoes before and my uncle bought me some black and white jordans for my birthday.

Man, you had to be extra CRISP with your choice of apparel back in the day and a nikka still had to battle two or three nikkas a day with the roastin. I remember I tried to cut my own hair one time in high school and fukked my shyt all the way up to where I had to go bald. Them two weeks was hellish.
